i'm so excited!

so here goes the second post of the day. yee haw! lmao!

this evening we went for family drive and decided to try - once again - to get a pic of our new house. the first time we tried to do this, it was too late and you couldn't see anything in the pics. the second time we tried to do this, we couldn't because they had security monitoring the area and since there is still construction going on in there, we technically weren't supposed to be going around taking pics. so shhhh!!!

this time we drove by and there was one loan construction working doing some painting on another home. so we drove up, snapped some pics, and quickly drove away. in the end, i am happy and have promised my husband i will not want to go out there again until they have the open house. he was paranoid about us going out there when technically we weren't really supposed to yet. so here come the pics...

this is the front of the house. the garage door is open.

this is another of the front of the house from a little further away. the garage you see that isn't open is the one of our adjoining neighbors.

and this is one kinda from the side.

while we were there i was dying to get out of the car and go peek in the windows. check to see if a door was unlocked or something! but i had promised the hubby i wouldn't (he might have had a heart attack!) so i kept my promise!

we are super excited though. and i think it's even more awesomer that we have a corner lot. the corner lots tend to be bigger than the other ones. we want all the space we can get!

you can tell in the pics that they are still working on things. painting, lanscaping, etc. it's amazing how quickly they are getting it all done though. the playgrounds and stuff look great, too.

ok...well, i had to share with ya'll and now i'm about to head to the gym! night ya'll!

where's the stop button???

so it's memorial day and i've been doing two things today....

cleaning and eating.

yeah.... i feel great about the cleaning part. i been this house all kinds of in order for the upcoming move. it's been awesome. the husband and kids have been helping, too. we are really making headway.

i feel horrible about the eating. i've had fruit and oreos and summer sausage and cheese and cherry coke and chips and dip and ugh! way too much. i feel horrible!!!

i looked at my stats and realized that i have lost anything since may 16. that's two weeks with no loss. yeah... what the heck is up with that? crap. that's what it is. TOTAL CRAP!

i was supposed to have an appt with my lapband doc last week but i had to reschedule it due to scheduling conflicts with the family and whatever crap we had going on. i can't remember what it was now. but my new appt is tomorrow and i'm debating on getting a fill or not getting a fill. i've only had one fill so far and i have 4cc's in my band. for a while i thought i didn't need one but now i'm really thinking i probably do. i mean, the other day i had two pieces of fish and two pieces of chicken from long john silvers for dinner. yeah. that's way more than i'm supposed to be able to consume. i don't really feel restriction unless i eat too fast or don't chew well enough. then i feel it. or if i try to drink right after i've eaten and the food hasn't gone down. then i feel like i need to puke. other than that i could probably eat a horse. so i'm thinking i might wanna do a fill tomorrow? what do ya'll think?

i have this fear of my band being "too full" and me not being able to even drink water. really freaks me out. but i definitely need some assistance again now i think.

i've been horrible with my blogging lately ya'll. and i'm so sorry for that.

hugs!

tidbits!

not really in the "blogging mood" but i figured i'd do a short one anyway...

so today we got the call. the call from the base saying "hi. we have a house for you!" i was sooo excited. the girl was asking if we still were interested and i was like "yeah!! we been waiting on the edge of our seat for this call!!!" she thought i was funny but i was for real. so we got our house on base. it's so awesome. i'm so excited. it's brand new and i've never ever lived in a brand new house before. it's also two story and my husband has never lived in two story so he's excited about that. we move in on june 28. yay!!!! we drove over there and looked at it tonight. it was dark so we couldn't see all that much but we could see it and it's so pretty. i tried to take a pic but there wasn't enough light. gonna go back earlier in the day and try to get a good pic. soooo excited!!!!

yesterday i joined the gym. yep. me and my aunt joined up together. and we did the cardio circuit. it's a 15 to 30 minute workout that you start with for the like the first twelve weeks of your membership and it does your strength training and cardio all together. awesome! we were supposed to go again tonight but my aunt cancelled. sigh! i can totally feel yesterday's workout today though. wow.

i bought some new shirts recently and in a smaller size of course. and noticed that some capri pants that were way tight just a couple of weeks ago are like much looser now. almost too loose even. so that's awesome!

tomorrow is the last day of school for my daughter. one more month of it for my son.

guess i'll hit the sack for now. later ya'll!

denial!

right now i should be fixing dinner for my family. but i'm not. i'm posting this blog. shhh. don't tell anyone!

i don't have any new weight loss to report. my scale told me that i had gained a pound or two but i didn't listen to that baloney! this morning when i weighed it was back to be being honest and told me i was still at my 209 i was at before.

today my bander friend came over to color my hair (i can't do it myself! lol) and she helped me do laundry while she was here. great friend, huh? yeah... she really is. she's the one who inspired me to get the band myself. she'll be two years post band this coming sept and has lost almost 100 pounds. she's gone from a size 18 to a size 8. lucky lady. well, she's in some kinda weight loss denial or something. she still buys clothes that are way way too big, still tries to wear her size 18 jeans, and is still convinced that she's not thin. i'm like what the heck is wrong with her? is there such a thing as weight loss denial. she's gone from a size 18 to a size 8 for crying out loud! we were folding my clothes and she was picking up stuff going "ooh. i could wear that!" and i'm like "hello!!! it's a size xl. you are a size SMALL now!" i dunno what's up with that but i must say that there is no way in hell i'm gonna be trying to wear a size 18 jean when i fit comfortably in size 8's or asking to wear a size xl top when a size small fits me. weight loss denial! it's real!!!

shopping

i have no new scale news to share today. i'm tottering between 209 and 210 depending on the day. lol and i'm ok with that. still haven't gotten back on the exercising boat like i should be but i'm working on it. i really am. lol

i'm really glad that stephanie was able to find stockpiles of her favorite lip liner and that her lips will not be going nekkid. =P

my house is an atrocious mess because we are still unpacking from our last move and at the same time trying to get ready to pack for our move to the new house hopefully sooner rather than later. and i've been going through stuff getting rid of stuff we don't want/don't need and etc.

so today i was thinking about the whole shrinking out of my clothes thing. i like the fact that i'm shrinking but at the same time it kinda sucks cuz i can't wear some of my fave stuff anymore and it's pricey to keep buying more and more only to know that soon those will be too big, too. so i came to this idea... i went to a local thrift shop around here to see if i could find any good finds for cheap prices. i got four new pairs of pj pants for only $12. what a deal! one pair is pink plaid from victorias secret and super cute. another is from old navy. and the other two are i don't remember what brand but they are all cute. and guess what the best part is???

they are size LARGE, ya'll! L-A-R-G-E. i cannot freaking believe it. size large and they fit me. they actually fit me. do you even know how long it's been since i've fit into a large? i cannot even remember the last time i owned anything in a size large. it's always been a tight xl or a xxl. i'm just like wow. i cannot freaking believe this. i know i said that already but i had to say it again!

so anyway... now i am helping my husband build our new dining set. it's a temp dining set til we move. long story! lol

same sunday... different post

i decided to remove my "holly" signature from the bottoms of my posts since it didn't look right anymore with my new summerly layout. but anyway....

i did one of my not so common anymore late night walmart runs. my son has a bad case of the disappearing underwears. yeah.... they are all going mia and i haven't a clue what he's doing with them. but nevertheless, i had to go get him some new undies and i ended up spending a lot more time and money in there than i planned.

i got me some more gummy vitamins since i needed them. and i also picked up some citracal petites. i saw on lapbandtalk that someone was able to swallow them easily. so i figured they'd  be super tiny.  uh... no. they aren't. they are still big ole pills. so i had to crush them and mix them in flavored applesauce. that went well. and now i'll be getting my calcium since i'm lacking that. i tried those lemon calcium bites from bariatric eating but i couldn't get them down after the first few. if anyone wants them i have a whole box someone can have minus like five or six maybe. any takers?

i also go stephanie some of her beloved lip liners. the last two they had. and let's see...what else did i get?

a great deal on the underwear. $3 for a pack of three. you can't beat that when i usually pay $6 for a pack of three. go me!

i was thinking on the drive home really how much less i eat now than i did before. a lot! it's amazing really. and how i never feel famished or anything when eating so little. this lapband thing is a godsend and i'm soooo glad i did it. i cannot believe i was ever one of those people who spoke negatively about weight loss surgery and said "omg. i'll never do that!". i'm so thankful i did it and that i was blessed to have insurance cover it. soooo blessed. i'm already 1/3 of the way to my goal and i just cannot believe this is real. i really can't. i know it's real but it seems sooooo unreal.

yesterday i had to buy me some new pajamas while we were at kmart because i've gotten too small - TOO SMALL!!!! - for the ones i have. i got two new sets. the pants are size xl. not 2x. but xl. and they fit comfortably. not even tight at all. i got the shirts in xl, too. once again, comfy. not tight. it's a miracle!

i'm really surprised though that i'm still fitting in my preband bras. i thought for sure my bra size would be the first thing to downsize. but so far it hasn't. i can tell they don't fit quite the same as they did before, but nothing meriting going down a size. my husband is very grateful for that. i am, too, for that matter. lol

oh....and i actually bought a shirt at the bx on base yesterday. normally i totally walk past the clothing section cuz everything is always way too small for me. even the xl's. well, yesterday i thought i'd take a chance. i tried on three tops. two were too tight but one fit just right. and it was an xl. i bought it up quick. but it felt so great to actually be buying "normal" size clothes at a "normal" size place and not just at the plus size women specialty stores, ya know?

and speaking of my bx shopping trip yesterday.... check this shit out.... we bought the following:

my size xl super cute shirt
my husband a pair of nike running shoes
me a pair of asics gel running shoes

wanna know how much we paid for all that? our total bill was.....

$55

yep. believe it. $55 for two pairs of name brand athletic shoes and a pretty top for me. i about died. the top was $24 and the most expensive thing we bought. talk about bargain shopping!

ok...well, i guess i'm done blogging for now. "see" ya'll tomorrow.

it was a sunday...

what's up with the frog lately? the frog being my band's name. see.... sometimes it's so tight i get stuck on fish. fish! of all things. and i have to stop eating cuz it just hurts too much and that meals is quickly over. but sometimes, it'll let anything through like bites of a grilled cheese sandwich which of course means bread. it's like what the heck is going on in there???

another thing i don't get at all is how the losing was pretty slow going since the fill a couple weeks ago. but then all of a sudden i'm losing a pound a day outta nowhere and i haven't even gotten back on my exercising like i was supposed to. so it's like what's up with that??? i'm definitely not complaining though. i was thrilled to see another new number on the scale this morning! i'm now at 209. just a mere 10 pounds away from onederland!

man...what will i do when i get there??? how will i celebrate? a tattoo? prolly not. i can't afford to be lavish like that right now and i'm not sure i'd wanna carry that around forever. a dinner out? well, that'd be really defeating the purpose now wouldn't it? a special piece of jewelry? hmmm... maybe that one will work. i do love jewelry. i dunno... i guess i'll figure it out when i get there. i should probably take some more progress pics soon as i am now officially down 31 pounds. i still haven't found anything to lug around that weighs what i used to. i'm gonna look for something next time i go to the store and see what i can find. just wanna pick it up and say "wow", ya know?

today a friend of mine told me that she could definitely see a difference in how slimmer my face looked in my son's recent birthday pics and the first anniversary pics that i posted on facebook the other day. i was like yay!!! i thought i could see one, too, but i wasn't sure if it was really loss or just how my head was positioned different in each shot.

i am now 59 pounds away from my goal. 59 pounds! i've lost 31 so that means i'm already 1/3 of the way to my goal. that's soooo awesome! i'm excited.

had a few nsv's recently, too, that i wanna share with ya'll. here they are:

1. yesterday we were shopping in kmart and i had to speed walk from the very front of the store to the very back of the store to get something we had forgotten and i didn't get winded at all. it didn't hardly phase me. pre band it woulda been me huffing and puffing the whole way like a damned train. not anymore though. so yay for that one!

2. i noticed that the size 17 jeans that were a previous nsv were starting to feel kinda loose on me. so i tried on another pair that were too tight before. and whaddya know? they fit. yay! so i wore them today.

3. today i realized that i haven't had my asthma act up in a really long time. since shortly after getting my band. the doc said that weight loss would probably cure me of it completely and i'm thinking maybe he was right. that is soooo great cuz when my asthma gets going i sound like a honking duck with my hacking and wheezing! lol

but anyway.... today we took the kids bowling with that whole kids bowl free thing. if you parents out there don't know what that is, then now is the time that i will tell you.

there is this program where kids all over the nation get to bowl free for the summer. the whole summer. it started on like may 10 and ends on like sept. 12. the kids get two free games everyday from now til september. all you gotta pay for is shoes and at my local bowling place that's only a mere $2.50. also, parents can do it, too. you can sign up for parents or adults on one pass for $24.95. each of those four parents/adults gets two free games everyday as well and it's only $24.95 for the whole summer. you just go sign up online. here's the website:

www.kidsbowlfree.com

you have to go on there and find your local participating bowling place, sign up,  and then your free passes are emailed to you every week. just print them out and go!

we went today and it cost us $12 for the whole family (four of us - 2 kids and 2 parents) to bowl two games. the $12 was shoe rental. it would have cost us $35 or more had we not gotten the deal with kids bowl free and that's with us even getting a military discount. so it's an awesome deal. anyway... it's worth looking into for all your parents out there.

now i'll shut up since i sound like an advertisement! lol

time to get see about dinner and getting things in order for the school week that starts tomorrow.

the big 3-0

this morning has not yet been the best for me. i woke up to the fact that the weather sucks so our zoo trip plans had to be cancelled. then i realized that my kids left their outdoor play tent open and the dratted dog got in there all wet and etc and ruined two really good bean bags they left in there. i'm soooo tired of that dog!!! he's my husband's and nothing but a pain in the arse! but anyway...

here's something else i woke up to:

210!!! yay!!!

i've met goal #2 which is 30 pounds down!!!! only 60 pounds to go til i hit my goal of 150. i need to go pick something up. like a thirty pound bag of cat litter or something so i can really see all that extra weight i was lugging around!

has anyone every told you...

that ya'll are awesome? well, ya'll are. i'm so glad i started this blog and that i have awesome blog friends/followers like yourselves. i love ya'll!!!

baby there's a shark in the water!!!!

so i am still totally drooling over amy's newest progess photos. she looks sooo awesome. i just think to myself... "will i ever look that great? will i ever get there???" i sure hope so. she's definitely a huge inspiration and reminder that it CAN be done.

have i been doing it is another question. the other day i walked two miles with the dog. monday that was. now it's thursday almost friday and i haven't done another lick of exercise since then. i feel horrible about it, too.

no movement on the scale either. and i've been a naughty eater. bad holly! bad holly!

i'm ready to see more movement. both on the scales and with clothing size changes.

i'm thinking about joining a gym. i know i had this debate a while back and decided not to, but now i'm thinking that maybe if i'm paying for it i'll be more likely to go. or my husband will harrass me about wasting money if i don't go and then i'll be more likely to go. lol it also helps that our local fitnation is running a special for may where there is no enrollment fee. i could get the gym membership and unlimited tanning for like $36 bucks a month! not bad at all.

but there's also this other fitness place that offers zumba 5 days a week as well as use of all the other fitness equipment (no tanning though) and that'd be like $40 a month. once we move on base though it'll all be outta the way. fit nation will be a drive and so will the other place with zumba. no winning on that for me. guess i just gotta figure out what's more important to me. all the fitness stuff and zumba or all the fitness stuff and tanning. what do ya'll think?

i'm really fair skinned and have never tanned before so i'm a bit nervous about skin cancer and stuff. but i really wanna be tan and pretty (see amy's pics again). my legs look like super white i dunno whats when i wear capris and i steer clear of shorts cuz of the comments my stark white legs get from strangers. one dude thought i was wearing white tights one time!!! eeeekkkk!

so today was the first cheer practice with me and my coachingness. it was a super laid back one as it's the next to last before the end of the school year and we didn't really do anything except let the girls play. i'm excited about my new coaching thing though. so jealous of the head coach. she's like my height (five three) and just moved from a size 8 to a size 6. super cute she is! and tan, too! i want that to be me in a year. tan, cute, and size 8. i won't push it by asking for a size 6 but i woudln't complain either. lol i'm already two thirds of the way there though cuz i'm already cute. just gotta get tan and down to a size 8. lol

went and got my nails and toes done tonight. i got the solar nails for the first time and so far i like them. my toes are pretty pink. the ladies at the nail shop pissed me off though. they are two sisters who own the place and i been going there for like three years. normally it's a great experience. but today they were having it out with each other in whatever their language is. vietnamese maybe? i dunno. they were griping each other out bad though. it gave me a massive headache. i told my husband and he called and complained after i left. the lady swore they weren't arguing but i mean, just cuz it aint in english doesn't mean a person totally misses facial expressions and tone of voice! but whatever....

tomorrow is my one year anniversary. we are going out to dinner and i dunno what else. we only get three kid free hours for our evening cuz the parents night out thing only lasts three hours.

i cannot wait to move on base. i sure hope that goes through without a hitch. we are number 21 on a list of 28. we've moved up one spot since we got on it last week. woohoo!!! they are moving 21 families in as of june but we don't know if those are two bedrooms, three bedrooms, or four bedrooms. we are on the three bedroom list. the lady did tell us though that a lot of the folks in front of us aren't needing housing til later in the year like december and stuff so that means we move ahead of them. yay!!! i'm hoping and keeping my fingers crossed for july or august at the latest.

well, i guess i better go for now. get some rest and stuff. but i'll leave ya'll with these scary toes.

 these are NOT mine!!! lol

well

my cat is meowing and driving me nuts. he's one of those cats that likes to be an indoor/outdoor cat. he goes in and out. like a kid. only.... he will meow at the door really really loud til you come let him in or out. and he tends to do it at 3am sometimes, too. pain in the butt he is!!! but anyway....

i just caught up on some of my blog reading. it was a little depressing to see how great ya'll are all doing on your weight loss and to know how not so great i feel i am doing on mine.  as ya'll know... i got my first fill on the 28th of april. almost two weeks ago.and i've only lost four pounds since then. yeah....and i know four pounds is better than nothing but i think those four pounds were from the liquids and mushies i had to do for the day of and days after the fill. i lost three of them those days and then one just the other day. i know it's better than nothing but damn. and i also know it's my fault i'm not losing. i mean, i have been eating a lot of bad stuff and not exercising. i feel bad for that.

don't get me wrong. i'm sooo happy to see sooo many of ya'll doing soooo well. (a lotta sooo's huh? LOL) but i just wanna be doing that well, too. gotta get my butt in gear. that's what i gotta do!

ok...well, i am gonna go get some workout wear on and take the dog for a walk. he needs it and so do i!!!

roly poly

today was my son's 11th birthday. it went well. he racked up on goodies and had great fun at the party. we all did. it's cool cuz today is mother's day on his birthday and he was actually born on mother's day 11 years ago. how awesome is that? he was my first ever mother's day present. my baby boy. awwwww.

i lost another pound. yay. band is working well with me. me and the frog (that's my band's name). only thing is that i haven't exercised (well, formerly worked out) in prolly a little over a week now and i feel absolutely horrific about it. gross and stuff even. so tomorrow i am back on the workout wagon. gonna start back doing my daily workouts and not eating junky stuff like i have been. not to mention that if we are gonna be moving in a month or so, i got so much to do to get ready. we have too much crap!!!

oh...speaking of moving.... we drove over and looked at the almost finished new homes on base today. they are awesome!!! i should have taken pics. we looked at four bedroom but we will be getting a three bedroom. they are still fab. brand new. never been lived in. two story. fully carpeted. all new appliances. tons of closet and storage space. it was amazing. i absolutely cannot wait to move into one!!!! i'm sooo excited. i've never lived anywhere totally brand spanking new before as in never been lived in. so that'll be awesome. if something falls through and we don't get one i'll just die!!! lol

ok...well, off to bed for me. hope all you mothers had great mother's days!

things

well, today was my first day as "cheer coach". yay! we had a meeting for new cheer parents and it went great. i was able to help one mom find a great deal on a used uniform and i could tell that it really helped her family out and helping her made me feel really great. =) the whole thing was exciting and fun and i'm feeling really good about being an assitant coach.

in other news.... no new pounds lost. that's kinda depressing but at the same time, i have been neglecting working out for like the past week. i feel really guilty about that but i've just been super busy and overwhelmed and working out hasn't fit in the schedule. it's gonna fit next week. i'm gonna make it fit again.

no new nsv's really. at least not that i can think of.

i'm having to set aside clothes to get rid of and, oddly enough, it's kinda frustrating. i mean, i hate giving away good stuff that i like but i guess if it's too big, it's gotta go. i'll have to get my crap together and make a sisterhood post soon.

in other news....

we might be moving on base soon. right now we live off base. and we recently moved from one house to another due to issues with repairs at the old house. the landlord wasn't getting them done and the whole neighborhood was experiencing plumbing issues. but now this new house is having issues, too, and our new landlord says he "can't afford" to fix anything. well, we have a bad leak in the bathtub and our water bill has been atrocious! not to mention there are a few other things that need repair that he's not fixing. we've only been here two months and it's been almost constant needing repairs and for the past month he hasn't fixed anything.

so we were thinking about contacting an attorney to see if we have grounds to break our lease but then realized it would be a lot of legal rigamaroll to do it that way. but the lease says if we get orders to another base or available base housing we can get out of it, so that's our ticket. at least we think so.

i called the base housing office and they have brand new homes (just finished being built this year) coming open in june. the lady said our chances of getting one of those is really good. so hopefully we could be moving into a brand new three bedroom house on base around mid june or early july. that would be sooo awesome and would fix all the landlord issues we've been having. i'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.

oh...and i gotta tell ya'll this... my mri came back negative. no brain tumor!!! i just have that pseudotumor thing and the doc says it looks like it's already getting a little better and that it will continue to get better with the more weight i lose. he is going to see me once a month to keep an eye on my progress though.

well, that same laundry is calling my name AGAIN. yeah... i never folded it way back when. bad me! i hate laundry!!!!

go! fight! win!

well, guess who's the newest cheer coach for my daughter's squad at school? me. yep. that's right. me who has never cheered a day in her life. although i died to be a cheerleader when i was my daughter's age, my mom was a single parent and couldn't afford it. not to mention that i wasn't a popular kid and they seemed to be the only ones who made it on the squad. nowadays it's different though. well, at least for my daughter's school it is. any girl who wants to cheer is accepted onto the squad as long as you buy all the super expensive stuff that goes along with being a cheerleader. which is part of one of the perks of being a coach... discounts!!!

honestly though, i'm pretty excited about it. i get to do something fun with my girl. she feels super special as her mom is a coach. and hopefully this will ensure her preferential placement in the formation at performances and etc. and did i mention discounts??? i'm all about saving some money!

thank goodness i'm only going to be ONE of the coaches. there will be like three of us total. one of which is the very experienced lady who started the squad in the first place. so i guess i'll be looking at lots of "cheer training" in the near future. lol

oddly enough, one of the first things i thought of when the idea of coaching was brought up to me was that i'll be losing weight so i will be skinnier. woohoo! lol i guess i was just thinking of that whole prerequisite that cheerleaders (and their coaches) are usually super skinny. well, i can't say i'll be super skinny or skinny at all. but i will definitely be skinnier! and that's a great thing. both for me in general and for this new cheer thing i'm taking on.

so i was once the cheer mom, now i will be the cheer coach. wow!

oh...and p.s.... that pic at the top....that's my girl. i know it's tiny but i'm a spaz about putting real pics on the internet! =P

ae... for me!!!

right now i am wearing a pair of lounge pants from american eagle. they are a size xl. and they fit. and they are comfortable. and my husband says they make my ass look great. lol i'm just like "wowee!" that i actually fit in them. see...there's a story behind these pants (kinda like amy's deal with the victoria's pink pants) and here it is:

a friend of mine got banded in sept. of 08. i never really thought she needed it but that's besides the point. she got her band and i went to visit her at her house a few weeks (or many a month) out. she told me about the pounds she had dropped since the banding and how she had picked herself up some of these cute pants from american eagle. and they were cute. soft. comfy looking. flare leg. she had them in grey and navy. they looked so good on her (even though at the time she didn't think so). and i remember thinking to myself that never will the day come that i will fit into anything from american eagle without looking totally squeezed in and ridiculous. so although i loved the pants and wished for a pair of my own, i knew that was a wish that would never come true.

or was it?

right now i am wearing those pants. the grey pair. well, they aren't so grey anymore as she accidentally bleached them so now they are a wierd cream color, but nevertheless. they are on my ass and they are just as comfortable as i thought they'd be. i still cannot believe i am wearing these american eagle pants.

they are similar to these only without all the crap on the legs. mine just say "american eagle" down the left leg in cursive.

to me, american eagle is one of those skinny people stores. one that i wouldn't even go in with friends (who could fit the sizes) cuz i didn't want to get wierd looks from folks who i knew would be thinking "what the heck is that fat girl doing in here?"

so anyway... my friend had me over the other day and gave me some clothes she had shrunk out of. these pants (and  the blue ones) were included. also included were a few other xl american eagle shirts that are super cute and don't look too bad on me right now, although i think i need to lose a little more to feel comfortable going out in them.

i am just sooo super shocked. it's like wow. it's happening. it's really happening. i'm losing. my fat is going somewhere else and new doors are opening for me (clothing wise). it's an awesome feeling.

i'm so proud of these damned pants, i wanna wear them out to lunch today. i have plans with my aunt. we are going to have mexican. i wanna wear these pants. but i won't. i'll refrain. lol

how much do i really weigh????

this morning i am frustrated... with my scale. not sure what to think or what to accept as my "real" weight. here's the deal:

it's one of those digital health o meter scales that's supposed to be as accurate as a doc's scale. and a while back (the day of my first post op visit with my doc) i weighed myself on it. ok great. then at my doc's appt later that day, my doc's scale said i weighed 4 pounds LESS than my home scale. so i was like "ok.... there's a four pound difference here and i will subtract that four pounds everytime i weigh so i will stay in tune with the doc's scale".

well, this time when i went for my visit on this past wednesday, the doc's scale said i only weighed 2 pounds less. so i was like hmmmm.... i don't get it.

i talked to a fellow bander friend of mine who said that it was probably the clothes i was weighing since jeans weigh more than pj pants (and i always weigh in pj pants in the morning).

regardless, i've been sticking with the minus four pounds thing until this morning. this morning i weighed myself and it said 215. ok... so minus four pounds that would be 211 or minus two pounds that would be 213. which one am i? i went with 213 for my tickers as i thought it was the safer choice but i would love to go with the 211. i dunno what to think.

what do ya'll think? how much do i freaking weigh??? ahhhhh!!!!! lol

i was stuck!!!!

today i had what i believe to be my first stuck episode. here's how it went down:

i was eating some fish. tilapia to be exact. it was good. i was hungry. i ate a little too fast. then i felt a pain in my chest. it was bad and sharp and tight as hell. reflexes had me taking a drink of something asap. bad idea!!! it caused even more tightness and pain and i thought everything was gonna come flying up. thankfully it didn't. but i was pacing around like a freak going, "oh my god. oh my god. it hurts!" and my husband was freaking out going "are you ok?" and my sister was like "is something gonna come shooting out?". it was funny but not funny at the same time. it wasn't too long though before it was over.

but then....

it happened again tonight. only this time it was a little different. the food was going down fine til i decided to sip some drink. i know i shouldn't but i wanted to and i did and i guess i drank too fast cuz boom! there was the pain and stuff again. almost had food flying back up but it didn't. thank god!

so....i really need to get some of that papaya enzyme. gonna do that tomorrow i think if the vitamin shoppe is open. now.... there was a lot more to my day but i'm ready for bed and ready to get these kids in bed!
