things

well, today was my first day as "cheer coach". yay! we had a meeting for new cheer parents and it went great. i was able to help one mom find a great deal on a used uniform and i could tell that it really helped her family out and helping her made me feel really great. =) the whole thing was exciting and fun and i'm feeling really good about being an assitant coach.

in other news.... no new pounds lost. that's kinda depressing but at the same time, i have been neglecting working out for like the past week. i feel really guilty about that but i've just been super busy and overwhelmed and working out hasn't fit in the schedule. it's gonna fit next week. i'm gonna make it fit again.

no new nsv's really. at least not that i can think of.

i'm having to set aside clothes to get rid of and, oddly enough, it's kinda frustrating. i mean, i hate giving away good stuff that i like but i guess if it's too big, it's gotta go. i'll have to get my crap together and make a sisterhood post soon.

in other news....

we might be moving on base soon. right now we live off base. and we recently moved from one house to another due to issues with repairs at the old house. the landlord wasn't getting them done and the whole neighborhood was experiencing plumbing issues. but now this new house is having issues, too, and our new landlord says he "can't afford" to fix anything. well, we have a bad leak in the bathtub and our water bill has been atrocious! not to mention there are a few other things that need repair that he's not fixing. we've only been here two months and it's been almost constant needing repairs and for the past month he hasn't fixed anything.

so we were thinking about contacting an attorney to see if we have grounds to break our lease but then realized it would be a lot of legal rigamaroll to do it that way. but the lease says if we get orders to another base or available base housing we can get out of it, so that's our ticket. at least we think so.

i called the base housing office and they have brand new homes (just finished being built this year) coming open in june. the lady said our chances of getting one of those is really good. so hopefully we could be moving into a brand new three bedroom house on base around mid june or early july. that would be sooo awesome and would fix all the landlord issues we've been having. i'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.

oh...and i gotta tell ya'll this... my mri came back negative. no brain tumor!!! i just have that pseudotumor thing and the doc says it looks like it's already getting a little better and that it will continue to get better with the more weight i lose. he is going to see me once a month to keep an eye on my progress though.

well, that same laundry is calling my name AGAIN. yeah... i never folded it way back when. bad me! i hate laundry!!!!
